Camp Quality Group Picture 2007 Reaching Out And Touching Special Children With Cancer
Camp Quality is...
A week of adventure whose lives are touched by cancer. It's a fun filled, exciting and rewarding week for these very special children. Camp Quality is a place of love, laughter, new friends, new challenges, and new victories. Doctors, nurses, one-on-one companions, craft workers, water front guards, administrators, kitchen staff, and many other dedicated, loving volunteers make up our camp staff.Who Are Camp Quality Campers?
Our campers include boys and girls whose lives are affected by cancer. Campers range in age from six to sixteen coming from all backgrounds, sizes, shapes, and colors.What Medical Care is Available During Camp?
Medical staff and camp companions are on duty twenty four hours a day during the campers stay. Simple treatments may be continued at camp and often, with small alterations in the timing of hospital treatments, our children can attend camp.What Does Camp Quality Offer?
Campers enjoy a wide, exciting range of activities such as swimming, fishing, crafts, games, music, fire engines, hot air balloons, and a time with farm animals and other pets. But best of all, our campers experience loving, caring relationships with other campers and with their own camping companion.
